Our advanced multi-phased process includes.....
Machine Edging
This crucial first step gives your driveway a finished appearance we call "the manicured look" and, more importantly, enables us to seal and protect the entire edge of your driveway, the area where cracks begin.
Pavement Cleaning & Crack Repair
We will thoroughly blow away all sand, grit and debris enabling the sealer to adhere permanently to your driveway. We wire brush if needed, and Oil Block can be placed on any oil stains allowing adhesion to these trouble spots. We can also do Cold-patch of any Potholes. All cracks to be treated will be cleaned completely. A combination of mechanical walk behind crack cleaning machines and miscellaneous hand tools will be used. This will loosen and remove most debris within the cracks. Cold pour rubberized sealant will be applied directly into the crack. With cold pour applications the material will be leveled with pavement using a V-shaped squeegee.
Application of Sealant
A high-grade coal-tar emulsion sealant (BlackMac from McAsphalt) is sprayed under pressure to ensure a smooth, uniform, black protective surface. This product has unique properties that allow it to fill the many voids and hairline cracks in asphalt. This will helps to restore the asphalt pavement to it's natural appearance while helping to prevent moisture seepage, and surface oxidization.
